This is a rotten shower windowsill fixed for a customer of mine in 2015 in North Finchley. It was causing heavy water leakage due to improper skills and materials used in this particular bathroom-shower windowsill. The tiles were held in place by ''Elastoplast Bandages'' and the wall was soaking wet from the water damage. After removing the tiles and rotten plaster off the wall, we had to hire a dehumidifier to dry up the wall and it took about six weeks to dry. The plaster was replaced with render (portland cement & sharp sand mixture) and had to be waterproofed prior to tiling using the proper materials. The tile windowsill was replaced with a marble slab then tiled all around it. See pictures below.
